Module 2, Lesson 6

The topic for this lesson was Adaptations and Symbiosis. I have a passing familiarity with this topic but I haven't reviewed the information since I graduated high school nearly twenty years ago. The online format was a better fit for me because I could pause and review information that I had trouble understanding. This would not have been possible in a face to face professional development session.

I will be incorporating the graphic organizers into my instruction next year. It's a good fit for any subject. I've included a picture of one side of my graphic organizer. The remaining sides are posted on the Padlet assignment. The design incorporates elements of doodle notes, which are my new favorite thing.

I'm curious about more graphic organizers that would be a good fit for K-2nd grades. Many of my students require graphic organizers as part of their IEP/504 plans, so I need to expand my knowledge of them.
