The entire assignment took me about an hour and was super stressful! I'm not a science teacher and I've never used flipgrid before. I must have re-recorded my video ten times. It was a worthwhile experience because it got me out of my comfort zone. I'm ready to show more empathy toward my perfectionist students because I definitely took more time than I should have on that assignment.
I thought that the bloop may have been caused by an animal physically manipulating or otherwise interfering with the device. Many of the other participants had similar initial thoughts. Once I read the actual cause of the bloop, I had a light bulb moment. It made total sense that it was an iceberg. I had no trouble imagining the visual that would have accompanied that audio.
